I have gone here several times over several years, and always I leave disappointed. I have never eaten here, though not for lack of trying. I have sat at the bar and at tables, and basically had to beg for menus, and then never got served. The same has happened while trying to order drinks. I understand downtown Beverly can... More

I love the pizza here. Not your run of the mill pizza with red sauce. They make what I like to call "designer" pizza with a wonderful array of fresh ingredients. A delicious thin crispy crust. There are many other dishes on the menu other than pizza but I always go for the pizza. Very nice comfortable atmosphere as well

Dined Soma eatery last night. It was very good, but unfortunately not a place I would frequent with often. I think this place is a hit with many people, just not me. Drinks were great.

When I'm in Beverly this has become my favorite lunch place. My favorite dishes are the Cajun salmon BLT or the Wild Salmon with bacon mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. It's cool or warm and dark inside. Interesting and unusual beers and wines, too. It's a great choice. Someday I will come back for dinner, too.

We have been to Soma twice for dinner. The pan-seared salmon and the chicken under a brick entrées were both very good; entrée prices are in the mid $20s. (The menu is available online.) However, the restaurant is primarily a bar scene, so it is noisy and dinner service is very slow.

I have been to Soma Restaurant numerous times in the past and always found the food to be good. I was there over the MLK weekend with my daughter. I had the veg pannini and she had steak pannini. My daughter liked hers... Mine barely had anything at all between the giant bread...cheese a piece of tomato ? , some... More

We had a gift certificate for Soma and decided to go there for dinner on Saturday. I called at approx 3 pm and there was no answer. I left a message requesting a reservation for three people at 6:30 pm and to call my mobile to confirm. I never received a return call so we went to the resturant at... More

The food was very good: beet salad for my wife and tuna tartar for me, and a shared pizza, too. The drinks were fine; after all, they came in bottles. Cabernet for my wife and an Ommegang Rare Vos beer for me. But the waitress was memorably bad! Inexperienced, perhaps? She first brought me a big bottle of Voss WATER,... More

Started our New Year's Eve celebrations with dinner at Soma on the recommenation of a friend who lives in the area. The food was good and the service was very timely. The place was packed for the holiday yet the service did not suffer. They did a nice job.

Started with some peach martinis...yummy for a cold wintery evening. Beet salad was super-fresh. Scallops dish was really really fresh with a wonderful sauce and beautiful presentation. The service was very friendly & fast - especially considering it was a busy Saturday night during the Holiday season. We were there for a birthday dinner and even though the place was... More
