Kate's is a convenient place to stop and grab lunch when you're at some of the Brewster beaches. Fried clam strips and fried oysters were yummy. Lunch for 3 adults and 1 child came to $90, which seemed a bit high for something we just grabbed quickly to eat.
As road side stands go, put this one at the top of the list. Outdoor picnic table seating, with a nearby beach (free parking after 3PM) offering an even more alfresco setting. Friendly employees. Good food, and an excellent value. Even if you are not looking for seafood, you can go straight to desert... their ice cream is awesome!
We went to Kate's as soon as we hit Brewster as we were starving. Lunch was great and we didn't have to wait at all. We'd definitely recommend.
We love this place for fried fish lunch and visit nearly every night for ice cream.

Any fish you want, and copious quantities of it, with terrific sweet potato fries (much better than the cole slaw)? This is the place. You want a beautiful sunset while you're...

If you want some good, simple seafood with no atmosphere this is a good choice. It looks like just another seafood shack, but the food is better than most and it is quick and easy for a family.
