The bar is a hopping place to be even on a Monday or Tuesday late afternoon/evening. The drinks are delicious and the bartenders are always friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend their seasonal drinks. I've never had a meal I don't like and most plates have a small and large size option. It's a nice, moderately priced, and very tasty restaurant.

Nice atmosphere and it was refreshing to see more variety on the menus vs. the standard meal choices you get at most restaurants

The food here is ok... a little mixed. Some things are consistently good and others vary. For example, the potato skins are a sophisticated example, using new potatos... always very good. Other things can be hit or miss... have had the burger a number of times, usually excellent... but a few times not very good. Same with the prime rib... More

Been several times over the years since it changed hands.. It is a decent lunch place around my corporate office. Overall a decent lunch place and good location. I had a burger (Build your own Burger) and they overcooked it. The fries were typical but fine. The overall ambience is nice with the fireplace.. It is really the only restaurant... More

When we moved to Hopkinton from Waltham, we knew we were sacrificing in restaurant options. We were so happy to discover this great neighborhood place. The food and service are always good. Lots of menu choices and they are always willing to accommodate special requests. Only had to wait once, on a Saturday night at 7:00. Even then, we waited... More

Went to try after a recommendation from a coworker. Bad idea. Made reservations, seated and a server never came over. After 15 minutes we mentioned it to the hostess who talked to the servers then the servers were arguing as to who should wait the table. Really???? Do you want our business??? Guess not!!!! We left and nobody even apologized.... More

Dined on a Friday evening with my husband. This is our first time at the Marathon so I called ahead to see if they offered "call ahead seating". We arrived and were promptly seated. I am gluten free so had some questions for the chef. All were quickly answered. Enjoyed the zucchini fritter appetizer and the grilled shrimp with cilantro... More

The chill of the cold winter’s night was just a memory as we sat at our table beside the blazing, soothing fireplace and ate a delicious meal. The stuffed portabella mushroom ravioli with steak slices and caramelized onions was excellent! The salads were large and very tasty. Special requests were addressed and menu items were adjusted. The service was excellent.... More

Sad to day, the service is beginning to change at this location. Waited 20 minutes for a waiter, then a table who was just seated were served, while my party looked in awe. No one ever came over, so we left our table and walked out. The bar is your best choice for eating, skip the dining room, don't know... More

To start, I will say that we had heard good things about this restaurant, and were very disappointed at the experience. We went on a Saturday night and we had reservations for a group of 5. When we arrived there was no one to greet us. When someone finally showed up, we were told our table wasn't ready. We waited... More
