Great meal at a great price. Service was very friendly. Our first time here and the recommendations were spot on. We will eat there again on our next trip.

My son makes the world's best ribs, but Mr. Jacks'ss may be in second place ! I got a half rack of BBQ ribs with fries and vegetables, and had 2 huge meals and still had leftovers. Tender, tastey, and still on my mind...

Good food and in the summer, the best outdoor venue in town. The burgers, chicken sandwiches and fish & chips are among their best fare. Inside, you have options of a casual dining room and a sports bar where the locals tend to hang out.

Great location in downtown East Tawas. It is specially great during the summer months when you enjoy dining outdoors on their patio. Friendly service and great food choices.

Great surprise! Stopped in for dinner having just arrived in town. My wife had the whitefish and I had the perch. Both were excellent but the highlight of the meal was the sweetpotato fries. Fried to perfection with a dipping sauce that complimented them perfectly. Looking forward to dinner here tomorrow.

We went at night and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. They have nice outside seating as well. We enjoyed our food and would go back.

We were in town visiting family when we saw Jackss. Grabbed the rest of the family and we got a big ol table outside. Started with some of the best and biggest fried mushrooms I've ever had. Wife and I split the Rueben pizza. Great idea for a pizza, and executed well. Great crust, great toppings, we were fat and... More

Having visited multiple times, I'm convinced the kitchen must be severely undersized. The staff is friendly, the food is good, but be prepared to wait a while for your food no matter what you order.

I eat here twice and the first time I got a simple club sandwich and it was ok. The next time we stopped in we ordered burger's with onion rings and a side of coleslaw. The burger tasted like cardboard with no flavor whatsoever. The coleslaw was ground cabbage with no sauce. Thank God the chef could not screw up... More
