They sell a lot of little snacks like cookies, rice crispy treats, rolls, etc.. and almost all of them are $4+. The same things are sold for $1.50 at any other cafe. To be fair though, I haven't tried their coffee or looked at those prices.

Located in downtown Kalamazoo, the Water Street Coffee Joint offers a superb place to have wonderful coffee and lunch. It deli-style food is eclectic with several vegetarian choices. The pastries are incredible, and range from cookies to impressive slices of cake. The coffee is crafted with care and attention to details. The Cafe's building is small on space, tucked into... More

Very casual, good place to chill and study. I like that you can log in to your computer and work. The overall cleanliness has fallen down a bit so they need to sharpen up. Employees work hard and are very attentive. I think management needs better training to help quide them. I like the "village" and "cool" feel of the... More

Though this place is little, their coffee and environment is amazing. Its modern atmosphere is a great place to be with friends to chitter chat. A prime place for college students to be and enjoy with friends!

My kids love to stop and get the panini, full of flavor. I love the variety of teas you can get brewed. But my favorite is the rice pudding. It's just a cool place in Kzoo, not a chain.

It's worth going to this downtown Kalamazoo instution just to enjoy the coffee house vibe. Fun vintage feel with such a modern atmosphere. Local artists often display their wares.

No doubt about it-- the best coffee in Kalamazoo. Good enough to compete with any coffee house. Funky atmosphere. Great place for conversation.

The coffee is ok but not great. I must have had different coffee than others had..it didn't overly impress me, there are better coffee shops in town.

Over several years of visits, Water Street has remained distinctly cool and roasts a quality cup of coffee. The tea is high quality too, with unique loose blends of herbals, black, green, red, white teas. Oakland Street location is roomier, still hipster, but more laid back. Prices are kind of steep, and a coffee refill is $1.75. Pastries are yum,... More
