Basic pizzeria; friendly staff; not too expensive. Had Leffe on tap! Not many places open in late October so a good find in an otherwise closed village on a Sunday.
We had a warm welcome here and all seemed well until we received our main courses which were supposed to be sea food linguini. The only seafood were three small prawns in shells placed on the top of the linguini. These produced the tiniest pieces of edible seafood. There was nothing within the linguini itself except a bland tomato sauce.... More
Tagliatelle agli Scampi. Langoustines, vin blanc, ail, persil, sauce tomate légèrement crémée. 11,00 € Sorry for believing it was linguine with seafood when the title is yet clear, it indicates well that is langoustines for only €11 that are generally popular. More
We've been here many times and have never been disappointed. The food is good, home cooking and freshly prepared. We love the pasta. You can be assured of a warm welcome, friendly service and great value.
Excellent meal, and a pleasant house wine at reasonable price. We had a most pleasant evening with good service by a waiter who spoke English when we needed it!.
The owner is very welcoming and the food is always excellent offering something for everyone (including Vegetarians) Well travelled brother-in-law rates pizzas as the best he has ever eaten! Restaurant open all year round helping to keep the village vibrant.
The pizza was really thin with not much topping, the other food was not cooked properly and presented like a lank piece of meat that was very tough and seemed to have been deep fried in something past its sell by date. When this was pointed out the staff they just said I will inform the chef but nothing else... More
We were welcomed with warmth. The menu is well priced and the food delicious. There was no problem in requesting slight changes to the advertised pizzas. We shall look forward to our next visit.
This was the best meal of our trip without a doubt. We sat outside on the deck/terrace in the evening sun. The waiter (possibly the owner) was on his own and although busy,he provided such a great service making sure we were well looked after. My dad had the duck salad and my mum had the parma ham for starters,... More
We have just returned from another evening meal at La Baldoria. The staff in this pleasant pizzeria are welcoming and cheerful, the food is very good and the service attentive and helpful. The Pizza Coppa and the Pizza Messicana are particularly tasty, the Mare et Monte Pasta is very good and the veal choices are all worth trying; we always... More
If a restaurant was to win an award for the work effort put in by the owner, who serves front of house, then La Baldoria be a prime contender. The Pizza choices and other Italian pasta and meat dishes are accomplished and very tasty and reliable. Having eaten here at least one a month for the past 2 years I... More
