Highly recommended, it's a bit of a drive off the beaten path, but well worth it. The ice cream selections vary from standard chocolate chip cookie dough to some exotic flavors...peanut butter fudge was my favorite. It's expensive, but nice!
Inventive favors, amazingly fast service and an experience to savor. The line can be across the parking lot, but it is worth the wait - and the line mooves quickly. Cherries Moobalee is the most famous (best in the country per Good Morning America.) I love that one but many interesting varieties to tempt an ice cream aficionado. Great family...

One of my favorite parts of the Northern Michigan summer... cherries moobilee! They give you huge servings at the restaurant, too, and you can outside and watch the cows go by as you make headway on your big mountain of ice cream.
I had the root beer float, my Son had the vanilla ice cream, and grandma had the raspberry swirl. They were all delicious. The float is made with a local rootbeer.
Just had the most awesome ice cream! Chocolate cherry pecan! Don't miss the cherries moobilee too! This is our second visit and it was even better than the last time. Make sure to stop here if you are in the Traverse City, MI area!
There's a reason Good Morning America voted Moomers the best in America. It is fantastic. It's worth trying every flavor you can. My daughter always gets the Blue Moon and for me it's Blackberry. This is a great place for families (our daughters loves eating ice cream while watching the cows nearby). Moomers is a must-go Summertime destination in the...

Best local ice cream- huge variety-Cherries Moobilee and Cinnamon are two favorites. all this and you get to watch the cows too.
If you want ice cream that is made from milk from cows that are next door and raised by the owner of Moomers, this is the place. The very best ice cream, as well as ice cream cakes. Be aware, however, that on a warm summer night - you need to get there early because the line frequently stretches out...

Moomers has recently branched out and now also has pizzas, calzones and wings. We had the East Bay Pizza and it was delicious. Crust is lightly sprinkled with garlic and it was one of the best pizzas we've ever had! Highly recommend giving them a try!
