This place tries hard to be like pizza places used to be. Thats a good thing. The service was good and the pizza was made with real crust . Wish we had this place at home.

Sammy's is next door to the Holiday Inn (and they deliver there, too)! Best pizza in Duluth--they have several locations in the Duluth area.

If you find yourself in Duluth and want some pizza go no place other than Sammy's. We have been eating Sammy's for close to 40 years and will not change. Try their other Italian food also it is great. A cold Sammy's pizza is better than a hot one from the other places.

Sammy's makes the best thin crust pizza you can find. I highly recommend the Sam Special or the Kosher Salami. You can also go to Aces on First just down the street and order a Sammy's pizza. They'll deliver it piping hot to the bar.

I highly recommend eating here if you like pizza. The crust was great, the flavor of the sauce and toppings was even better. I am very happy we tried this place out!!

Sammy's is a bit above the chains but nothing special. The cheese bread is very bready and the pizza crust a bit too doughy. Sauce could use a little more kick. OK basic type of pizza nothing I'd go out of my way for know Luce is just a few blocks away. Service was efficient and friendly.

YUMM! I think this is the BEST pizza I have ever tasted. Their crust is great and toppings tasted fresh and plentiful! PIzza was delicious. There was a special for free cheese bread the day we ordered. That was ok, but the sauce was very runny and not that good.
