Every trip to Duluth requires a stop at the Duluth Grill. This time my wife and I stopped for lunch. Their offerings just have a special touch. Like beet juice and lemonade where the beet juice is added last giving the drink separate red and yellow portions that with drinking comes to resemble a tasty lava lamp. The Tuesday special... More

My wife and I avoid chains and eat at local restaurants whenever possible, so on a recent trip to Duluth we decided to try Duluth Grill for breakfast. What we found was great service and excellent food. The meals are cooked from scratch with as many ingredients as possible sourced locally (and some even grown right on the property in... More

My family went to Duluth Grill for supper after the graduation ceremony for UMD completed. We went there knowing that every restaurant in the Duluth area would be swamped with guests, but were hoping for the best since the restaurant is located miles from where the ceremony took olace. The front door staff was simply overwhelmed with handling the wait... More

We finished our trip to Duluth, with lunch at the Duluth Grill. It was a Sunday afternoon and quite busy. We waited about 30 minutes for a table. We were seated towards the back of the restaurant, against the wall. The table next to us was so close, that when a person was seated, there was only about 6" between... More

We saw The Duluth Grill on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and decided to give it a try. I must say that it mostly lived up to expectations. We ordered the Bison Burger, The Gyro and a Mac n' Cheese kids meal. The kids meal came with fries, fruit, or soup and a drink. I was a little curious when I... More

No matter how slamming busy this place is, and it frequently is this way, you will be greeted within seconds of entering, and once seated, you will get your coffee cup refilled promptly and have someone nearby to ask if you need something special. In addition to great servers (honestly, every one has been excellent), the Duluth Grill employs a... More

After seeing this place on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives we had to find it and eat there as we passed through Duluth. It is in a somewhat industrial looking area of Duluth. The parking is not the greatest but we just waited for someone to leave and were able to get one. The place is not fancy but just like... More

Dishes served here like nowhere else in a Northwoods style atmosphere. Great service, VERY locally grown and raised ingredients in everything on the menu, hot beverages served in locally made ceramic mugs, no two alike. Beef? How about Bison instead? Lamb is also on the menu. Also a list of vegetarian selections, something for everyone of any taste, all reasonably... More

A commitment to local ingredients and sustainable practices, excellent tasty food of all sorts, unique menu options, great service, and a restaurant that offers its employees benefits such as health care and retirement plans. Who could ask for more when it comes to casual dinning? Each time our family visits the Duluth Grill we leave happy and satisfied. The staff... More

We look for locally sourced food and restaurants that care about where their food comes from. We were excited to find The Duluth Grill. Our breakfast was very good. The coffee was very good. (a must) We liked the atmosphere. A lot of locals. A few gift items for purchase. The waitstaff were pleasant. We will be back.
