My wife and I have eaten in Italian restaurants in NYC, Boston, Chicago, and San Fran. BLG is one of the best Italian restaurants in the US. The crispy insalat is light and dellcious. The egg and lobster brsucheta is fantastic. We split four of the smaller portion pastas: fusilli with lamb meatballs, bucatini with bolognesse, gnocchi with cauliflower and...

The week before I went on a business trip to Minneapolis, a colleague visited the city and returned to the office raving about Bar La Grassa. They offer smaller or larger portions and everything I've had here has been fantastic. It's a bit easier to get a reservation now it's been open a while but if you don't get one, they have a bar area you can sit at and order the full menu.
Great, great food. Ambiance and service also wonderful. 112 Eatery is also top notch because its the same chef so you do the math and pick one or both! It can be spendy for a full meal so be prepared. La Grassa is great for couple and groups as it is a sharing plates type of place...really lets you get...

My husband and I usually go with with friends which...

We started with...

I love Bar La Grassa! Any time I want to go out to dinner in Minneapolis, I think, is there some place else that could be as good as Bar La Grassa, or would I rather just go to BLG and have a fabulous meal? The food here is that good. The soft eggs with lobster? Decadent. The egg ravioli?...

good choices on plate size and amazing selections for food; creative and does not have to be expensive either.
