Breakfast is good. Out on the patio. Lunch and dinner isn't that great. Service could definitely improve.

Listening to "locals" we tried McElroy's Harborhouse and found it unacceptable in the food taste catagory. The shrimp were tough as shoe leather and had no taste at all. It was obvious that they were frozen and cooked too long. I will admit that the grilled tablia was quite tasty but I shall not return to a place that serves...

Had breakfast twice in 3 days, not open for lunch or dinner at this time. Outside on the patio watching shrimping boats coming in and DOLPHINS following them in the bay. Excellent omelets with hash browns and bread costing $9.00.My husband had breakfast sandwich, fried easy over eggs with ham and the works. Best blueberry pancake(giant size we split) We...

Climbing the stairs (elevator option too) to a wide open dining room with windows lining the Gulf side, we asked for a table with a view...watching the birds and boat action on the water made our breakfast interesting and was a good backdrop for the many seafood options on the menu. One of us had the shrimp grits and one...

The good was good. We had the Shrimp and Grits. The waitress was pitiful though. Reaching across my lunch date to hand me a plate and saying "Here!" not once but twice. (We were not in a booth or even a corner table). No refills on our drinks at all. When inquiring about how the shrimp were cooked in the...

There are a few McElroy's locations on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and my sister in law, who lives in Biloxi, has completely indoctrinated me about it all. On our most recent trip, we went to the one in Biloxi, right on the beach, and enjoyed breakfast on the balcony. I had beignets and bacon with a big cup of coffee,...

The seafood was so fresh. I had the seafood platter and I shared it with a girlfriend. We had more than enough food to share. The prices were great and the service very good. We also enjoyed the old tunes they played.
We just happened on this place and thought it worth a try. The location on the beach afforded wonderful views. Our server, Jamie, was ever so pleasant and attentive. She steered us to some wonderful food choices. The shrimp and grits special I had was delicious- as Jamie said, "even if you don't like grits". We were a group from...

This place is just average. Kind of an old fashioned seafood restaurant - nothing fancy. Was recently rebuilt after having been destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. The atmosphere is pretty tacky. Being a local, I am disappointed that they didn't take advantage of the rebuild to redefine themselves.
This was a very good restaurant and we loved its location up high and almost over the water. The food was excellent, but a little pricey.
