I came here often pre-Katrina and lost track of them after Katrina until now. Different location but te food is still outstanding. The Po-Boys are just as i remember. Not too much bread and great bread to filling ratio. The gumbo was still outstanding. Not overly spicy but chunked full of flavor. This a local diner style place so if... More

Gumbo is first class. Fresh shrimp basket slightly salty. Sweet tea perfect. Cute waitress. Will be back.

If these aren't the best poor-boys around I'd be interested in seeing/eating any better. They certainly topped what we had in New Orleans. They are supposedly 7" long, but I'd swear they were bigger. The crab and cheese one I had was so stuffed It was too big to hold. I needed a fork to eat it, and still couldn't... More

This restaurant is a local place in downtown Biloxi. They offer a lot of seafood, salads and burgers. I had the small shrimp basket that gave you quite a large portion of fries and shrimp. Unfortunately all I could taste was the breading and the fries were tasteless. I guess you have to develop a taste for this type of... More

Stopped for dinner while staying overnight in Biloxi. No frills, but great poboys, etoufee, and onion rings. Our server, Inga, was great. Need to give it a try if in the area.

Captain Ron and crew was great and we met some great people. My wife got to steer for quite a while and she really enjoyed that. We had to stay on the back bay closer to shore. If the winds have been lower, we could have been in the Gulf, which is what we had anticipated. We understood, but this... More

The Biloxi schooner is really an old diner dive, but their breakfast is cheap, fast, delicious and plentiful. This is a great 'morning after' place or even Sunday breakfast hangout. You won't be disappointed by the large portions and no frills down to earth menu. I

Pre Katrina and Post this place has consistently provided great gumbo and po boys. We have never had a bad or mediocre experience here.

Whether you come for the daily specials or one of their first-rate po-boys, the Schooner is sure to satisfy your cravings. A long-time noon-hour gathering place for Biloxi locals, this eatery has been serving up great seafood for many years now. Once located at "The Point", this diner is now squarely in downtown Biloxi across from Nativity BVM and just... More
