My wife and I visit Jackson every couple of months or so and we are always looking for great places to eat. We were looking for a place that served brunch on Sunday and we came across an article on Nick's now serving brunch. While the article was flattering, the recent reviews of Nick's on TripAdvisor made us a little... More

My wife and I used to really like this place. We went here recently, and it was not the same. Crowd was small, and food just wasn't very good. And it was expensive!!! One bartender for bar and whole restaurant! We will not be returning.

service was great and atmosphere was top notch. However the food was hardly what should be expected for the price. It costs nearly six hundred dollars for a group of seven to leave disappointed and still hungry.

Nick's seems to be going through lots of changes, and I haven't been impressed by any of them. The chef has removed many long-time menu favorites of the customers and replaced them with trendy, odd food combinations as the portions get smaller and the prices get higher. It is the menu changes that have really changed the nature of Nick's.... More

Two for the brunch at 2 pm on 3/10. Since we were the last that came in for brunch we assumed we'd get great service & food, after all this is Nick's. Wrong. They had to make coffee. A restaurant serving brunch has to make coffee? My wife ordered the eggs Benedict country style. I ordered 3 eggs, bacon crisp... More

My Co-workers and I went for Valentine's Day lunch. Not only did we wait one hour and fifteen minutes, but then the appetizers and food we received was good... but not GREAT! I had such high hopes for Nick's since others had previously bragged about how wonderful it was. We started with the alligator and the fried pickles. Again, they... More

I've been eating at Nick's for at least 25 years. I questioned the decision to leave the Lakeland Drive location and questioned the abandonment of a great menu, the atmosphere, etc. I went for lunch today, sat at the bar and looked at an all new menu. I ordered something called "bacon-crusted catfish" which the bartender assured me was delicious.... More

Two of us dined at Nick's last week, and I ordered the fried oyster caesar salad. It arrived with 4 or 5 romaine leaves stacked on top of each other with a layer of olive tapenade. On top of this were several very small fried oysters, and the dish was $17. It didn't qualify as an entree, and practically not... More

I have been to Nick’s many times. It has an excellent atmosphere, a great bar, the service is always exceptional, and the food is terrific. Highly recommended for a gathering with friends, or for a business lunch or dinner. You will not be disappointed!

This is our favorite restaurant in Jackson for a first class meal and service. Six family members went last night for our annual Christmas gathering. We were not disappointed. We had reservations for five and showed up with six. They were very accomodating. The waitress was outstanding. She needed patience to deal with the six of us intent on enjoying... More
