Wonderful buffet with a great variety of foods, terrific cobbler for dessert. Comfortable atmosphere and terrific service make The Plantation a great place to stop when in Branson.
Pros: none Cons: bland food; we ate a lunch buffet and it consisted mostly of deep fried catfish pieces (they were hard), chicken (ok), and spare ribs (bland); there was some salad, some overheated vegetables, cobbler pie, a very very very soft serve ice cream dispensed from a machine; the server was ok, kept the soda refilled quickly; there are... Upon entering the restaurant, we commented to each other on the smell of dirty carpeting. The service took so long that by the time they arrived, we decided that the reataurant was not clean and we left. 'Sorry but I cannot give a review of the food
When we first ate here years ago it was locally owned and it showed. The food was top notch and so was the service. Since, corporate has taken over and it's run down. The interior is stale and in need of repair and the food isn't good. It's not a place to visit. It's living on past reputation and that... More
We had the buffett. There was catfish, barbque ribs, meatloaf, smothered steak and much more. Dont missed the dessert bar where you will find the worlds most yummy blackberry cobbler. indulge with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
If you are after fancy food, don't come here. If you like good country cooking, this is the place for you. The salad bar is amply stocked, the meats and vegetables are well-cooked and properly seasoned. Desserts are good. Our waiter was very nice. We had a "buy 1, get 1 for half price" coupon, so it was about $15... More
This is buffet style, and you don't know where to start. All was very good and the ribs , well I usually don't eat ribs but went back three times here. Staff are just great, can't say enough about the staff.
I am very disappoint with the buffets in Branson. These places should be ashamed of the quality of the food that they are putting on their buffets. I think there should be a verity of food offered not everyone is into fried foods, nor a lot of starch and fat. I love catfish but the catfish that was on this... More

We went here because there was a coupon. The adult lunch buffet was reasonably priced, but $7 for kids 3-10 and $3 for under 3 years. They didn't offer us a menu and just asked if we were getting the buffet. When we questioned the charge for the younger kids the waitress said we should have read the menu first.... More
