The food at this place was not bad at all, and we enjoyed trying the beer from the local Tin Mill Brewery, but my heart sank when someone near us lit a cigarette. Just say NO SMOKING. What is wrong with Missouri.... every other state we travel in regularly has banned indoor smoking.

The food and atmosphere were both good. The service was lacking a little. The building holds a lot of history and is cool on the inside.

This is one of the few bars in Herman that allows smoking. Drafts r cheap and it's good to get some local flavor. It also stays open till 1:00 AM. Most bars in herman close about 9:00 in winter time.

The young lady who waited on us seemed distracted by other things. She was very inattentive. The food was OK, but her poor service really spoiled the meal.

At first I was skeptical about this establishment after reading earlier reviews. However, after going here and experiencing the good food, service, and all around hospitality, I am glad this is where we went.

We had to seat ourselves and the waitress ignored us numerous times. Other patrons were seated and served while sat there for 10 minutes without being acknowledged. We got up and left.
