Great salads and pizzas. Unique toppings and just good food. Nice atmosphere. Always busy, so come early.

Lots of unique pizzas that are not too heavy and they have wonderful salads too. This is a place my veggie teens can eat as well as my husband who would order all meat on his pizza if he could.
Born & raised in St. Louis, but square provel pizza (while I do like it) isn't my favorite; this is. Crust is soft without being flimsy or mushy, toppings are high quality, cheese is fantastic. Can't make up your mind? Try half the pizza red sauce & half white. No reservations; expect a wait at peak dining times, but it's...

Our group of nine visited for the first time after an afternoon at the Magic House, which is right down the street. The kids were entertained by watching through large windows into the kitchen as pizzas were being made. The wait wasn't too long, but it soon became very busy, which surprised us for 6 pm on a Tuesday night....

We met up with some friends at Dewey's on a Friday night and were met with a 1 hour wait for a table of 6. It's a fairly small place, so be prepared to wait.
BUT - the food is definitely worth the wait. The salad was so fresh it tasted like the produce had been picked when I ordered...

This place knows how to cook a great PIE! The crust was wonderful, thin and delicious. The service was very good! We had 8 in our group and they put together a table for us with little waiting. Very accomodating! If you want to taste local flavor pizza this is a great place to do so!
Dewey's is one of our favorite places to go to eat in Kirkwood. The kids love to watch them make the pizza's through the observation window. We have always gotten great service but at certain times you can have a long wait to be seated.
Awesome pizza! It's all good, but my favorite is the Green Lantern. This place is also good for kids. If they get restless, there is a viewing window where they can go watch the crusts being thrown into the air and the pizzas being made.
One of my usual stops when in town. Very Good pizza (and I'm from Chicago) and best salads around. I recommend the peppercorn ranch salad. So hard to find good pizza away from home, and this is good enough I would go there, if there was one in Chicago. Nuff said.
Food was great. Went for lunch with a friend on a weekday. The restaurant was kind of crowded and noisy.
