This place was ok for dinner - nothing too fancy. But the staff was very friendly and it was noticeable that they all looked very happy so the atmosphere was good. The food is not authentic - it's a typical American/Mexican restaurant.

We tried this place based on the reviews, and we were not disappointed. The food is good and the prices are fair. The service was a little slow when we first got seated, but other than that every thing was good. The chips and salsa are delicious and fresh. The salsa isn't spicy at all. Anyway, I would definitely recommend...

We just came back from a family trip to the lake. As with most Friday evenings we had a hankering for Mexican food and margaritas. We were actually headed to another Mexican restaurant when we stumbled upon this place. It's a little hard to get to only because it's right off of a one-way road; Don't pass it or it...

Lets face it. The building was a pasta house so the atmosphere is not exactly cozy. If you like a darker bar type of joint this is not it. Portions are large but only average in taste. Salsa is the thin type and we prefer thicker. Best salsa at lake is Sunrise Cantina but that is somewhere near Kansas.
We're from southern california, so we've eaten a lot of Mexican food. Surprise surprise, the best Mexican food I've ever had is right here at Lake of the Ozarks.
We went here for a weekday lunch. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was pretty good. Not great, but it was good. My biggest complaint is the cleanliness of the restroom. All in all, it's a decent place to eat.
Everything was delicious-- from the spicy salsa, burrito, tamale, kids tacos - excellent!! My son actually ate and loved the chicken taco! Service was awesome. And its true, the best margaritas in town!! Cannot wait to go back!
We ate here on a Saturday night with a party of 5. We were seated right away, and the service was quick with both the drinks and the food. We all loved our dinners. The sauces were good, the queso and the guacamole were excellent. I had the shrimp quesadilla and it was big and full of good quality shrimp,...

Would have to say the food was good, however really on the bland side. We have been to Mexico numerous times and this is not it. Don't get me wrong it is not bad but if you like tastes that really "pop" in your mouth this is not it. If you like spicy foods make sure to request the extra...

Some of the best Mexican food I have had. Great portions for the price. Very high quality food as well. Great experience!
