Waited in line for 30 minutes at lunch time but worth every minute. Great atmosphere, wonderful food and excellent value.
I had a pork sandwich which had perfect portion of really good quality meat. The sauces are really special, not too sweet. I'm not a huge fan of sweet potato fries but I loved the ones I got here and...

I was told numerous times by numerous folks that if you have one meal in St. Louis, it should be Pappy's. They were not wrong. But get there early. At 5:15 on a Thursday, we had plenty of dining options. By 5:30, the line was really long. The place closes early, too. I had the platter of two meats -...

This has to be the best BBQ in STL! The pulled pork, and ribs are outstanding. The only negative is the fact that when they run out of food they close! So, if you're going for dinner, and they've been really busy, you might be out of luck. My advice--go for lunch, but be prepared to stand in line.
Coming from Miami, I hear bout this place also seen it on TV show Drive , dine and dives.. "something like that "..
Ribs are meaty and juicy .. beans are out of this world and the fired corn is nice. .. Local Root beer one of the kind.. I've travel a bit and could say the ribs are not...

We expected way better food that this. The ribs stuck to the bone, the flavor was not all that. They had way to much fat on them. We didnt care for these much at all and even left about a 1/4 slab of ribs. My husband is not one to leave food and will usually eat it even if he...

Atmosphere is great...sit and enjoy your BBQ with the Blues Music playing! I've had every BBQ they make and was not disappointed! The sweet potato fries are to die for.., but the other sides are Great as well...just to mix it up...My favorite sauce is the Sweet Mary Jane, but you might want to try the Original as well.
This is a "hole in the wall" place. Get there early because when they run out of food they close. We went at about 4 PM and there was a 45 minute wait line to order and get seated. Don't let that stop you, there is a reason for that line. Great Ribs!! YOu can't go to St. Louis without...

We pulled into St. Louis after about 12 hours in an RV and were hungry! I checked into an RV park on Facebook, about a mile from Pappy's, and one of my friends immediately said "if your in St. Louis you gotta get to Pappy's. and go early. When they run out of food they close for the day!" I...

Whooooeee! Went to Pappy's after church on a Sunday--the line was out the door--the most unassuming door you could ever think of for a great little hole in the wall hang out...the wait was about 45 minutes total--literally there is a line to wait in line! IT IS WORTH IT! Once you order, your food comes within a few minutes....
