My wife and I were fortunate enough to be invited to a party here. Several course were served, including a cold asparagus, a beet salad, beef tenderloin or tilapia, pasta Bolognese, molten chocolate cake with ice cream. Everything was delicious! Very expensive, but superb, great for a romantic dinner or a celebration.

The Crossing in Clayton Missouri is a very nice upscale resturant with great food and very nice service. The prices are not too high but it is a nicer place. It is small enough and quiet enough to offer a feeling of intimacy so a great place to take your significant other for a very nice evening out.

Forget what anyone else tells you...if they know St. Louis and they know food, they should already know that the food here shines brighter than any former 5 star family owned restaurant downtown. Six of us enjoyed an outstanding meal, with a reasonably priced winelist - and about 25 different Pinots to choose from. Our waiter was knowledgeable, helpful and added to our enjoyment of the meal - made excellent recommendations.

We opted for the Premiere tasting menu and wine flight this time. I went with salad, pasta, and beef tenderloin courses. The egg raviolo was presented well and had a creamy texture, but no distinctive flavor. Good, not interesting. The beef was perfect.
