I took my mother here for dinner. I was a bit nervous when I walked in because I was wearing jeans and a hooded sweatshirt; this place looks a bit upscale. I have to say I was treated as if I was wearing a tux. I was thrilled with my steak and sides. I will return for a meal if... More

I used to come here every time I was staying in St. Louis.(4-5 times a year) This time it was just bad. Their wine list by the glass continues to be almost non-existent and their bottles are blasé. I had the lamb which was all fat and not prepared to my specifications. The oysters were horrible, I found it hard... More

As a family we celebrated my son's 13th Birthday here on Fri 5/3/13. The downtown area was kind of quiet as there was no sporting events in town. Skip our server was amazing, he always had a smile and never rushed us. The food was amazing and my 10 year old daughter wanted to compliment the Chef! The Chef made... More

Went straight from Cards game on Sunday afternoon. Resturant was quiet at that time of day. Plenty of wait staff. They were all friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We all had the special, an 8 oz filet with red onions and red wine reduction sauce that came with choice of sides. Filets were cooked to order and melted in... More

We arrived at our reservation time and seated immediately. The service was good. It was our waiters first day on the job and he did a good job of explaining different items on the menu as well as the specials. The food was average and there was little in the way of healthy choices. The chicken choices were all breaded... More

Myself and a few colleagues dined here earlier in the week. The experience was outstanding. The food was delicious and the wait staff was friendly and efficient. We tried getting a table at Shannon's, but were turned away at the door since we didn't have a reservation. Truth be told, they didn't seem all that excited to see us. So... More

Went to this restaurant as a part of a business meeting. Had the atlantic salmon and was surprised at the quality of the main dish. It was served with a potato of the day, and steamed veggies. All in all, a very satisfying meal. Only real issue was the "twice-baked potato" was a bit too crunchy for my tastes.

This was my 2nd time at Carmine's. I'm in St. Louis for my dads surgery. After a very stressful day I seriously could not wait to get to Carmine's for dinner. The ambience and the service are just superb. And the food is cooked to perfection. I had to get the family recipe toasted ravioli,my favorite!! Then the New York... More

We selected this restaurant after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. We were sadly disappointed. There was little to no atmosphere. Our waitress was nice enough but we felt like we were in a NYC deli not an expensive steak house. The food was average. I had a filet, which was good and my husband had the lamb chops which... More

I am a Pacific Northwest Girl at heart and I love seafood and salmon. Since I had steak the night before really wasn't in the mood for it again. So I broke my rule and ordered the shrimp and crab. Alas, the shrimp was overcooked and rubbery so it went back. I decided to go with my second choice and... More
