This place is located right in the centre of Lakeside and serves great burgers. I have been here twice and think the rest of the menu is average. It is a bit dark and the entrance is a little cluttered with knick-knacks.

We have been going to the Homestead since it first opened around 23 years ago. The breakfast year round is the best. Especially known for large portions, Huckleberry pancakes. On a Tuesday we ordered the special Tiger Shrimp Appetizer for $9......I don't know how they weigh or measure those shrimp, but the two of us stuffed ourselves. It was more than the advertised pound. We have had the calamari in the past, and that's good too. Ashley is a good server. They make the best sauce for those 2...
