The five of us dined on sushi. Sorry to say, we were underwhelmed at best. Perhaps it was all the rave reviews we had heard and our expectations were too high or maybe it was just a bad evening for the chef or something. The restaraunt was very crowded and busy. The service was very good and everything was served in...

Wasabi is an excellent place for fresh fish. The sake sampler is fun and delicious. Be sure to make a reservation, if you can, because Wasabi is so very popular with locals and visitors alike.
As a vegetarian, a sushi joint might not be the most satisfying place to eat... however, at Wasabi, they are accommodating and friendly about it. They'll tempura fry any roll and will sub tofu for just about any fish or meat on the menu.

don't care much for sushi so I tried the bacon wrapped scallops. yummy. will go back again soon and maybe try the sushi too.
Really great sushi. Fun atmosphere. Laid back, friendly and prompt staff. Prices are where you would expect them to be. I love the excitement in this room. Busy, but really lively and enjoyable. The fish is fresh and excellently prepared and unlike some other places that have raw fish, it never smells old. If you are in Whitefish looking for...
