Portions were great but beef very dry. Not a lot of 'heat' to food but great chips and salsa. Service fast and friendly.
Dined here for lunch the other day. The service was very friendly, though a bit slow for my taste. The highlight of my mean was the tortilla soup. Very good. Very good. I also had a chorizo cheese app. Tasted good. If you are in the mood for Mexican, this is a good choice.
I have been here several times, and it appears that the prices keep creeping up. They charge for chips and salsa (I don't think they used to) and the food is average. If you want to people watch, make sure you sit at the bar, or get a table near the front.
We make it a point to come here each time we are in Las Vegas - it is a nice, cosy little place, tucked away from some of the noise and bustle. We were seated for supper right away, and service was prompt. We were unpleasantly surprised to find they are no longer offering complimentary chips and salsa. Fortunately the... More
We visited Gonzales y Gozales in the New York hotel when wandering around looking for somewhere to eat. We were seated immediately and the service was excellent. Our waiter was curtious and full of advice about Las Vegas. The portions were both huge and delicious, and the house margarita was the best I had in Vegas.
We always look forward to eating here each year when we visit. Usually it is a romantic last night meal for my wife and I, but this year my in-laws were with us and we brought them. The food was very good and the service was excellent. They even let my father-in-law change the TV to Survivor so that he... More
We enjoyed a late night dinner on Monday, October 14th. We had quesadilla, chips & salsa, guacamole fresca, gonzalez burrito and pork carnitas. We enjoyed all of our selections and found the wait staff to be very informative and friendly. Great restaurant!
Fine Mexican food at reasonable prices. Friendly service. Nothing to write home about. It is about the only Mexican sit down restaurant that I know of that charges for chips and salsa before the meal. If you have a craving for Mexican food and don't want to walk next door to Monte Carlo for the superior Diablo restaurant, this place... More
Located inside NYNY, we dined 'outside', so we could people watch and view the roller coaster. Lunch was served quickly and was delicious. Pretty good margarita, even if it cost twice as much as the meal :)
