I am not sure what all the hoopla is about -- this is an overpriced average steak house. Perhaps cause we did the early bird special (Sun-Thur 5p.m. to 6 p.m.). You have to ask for it from the waiter cause they don't tell you about it. 3 courses for $27 (still pricey). Choice of a rib eye steak, chicken... More

The steakhouse is very good. Love the waitstaff. The only thing we did not like is that another party was seated near the area that we were dining, they were very loud, not dressed properly, did not really care that others were around them. Lucky for us, we were almost done with our dinner. The food is outstanding. Caesar salad... More

The prices are high, but that is the nature of high-end steakhouses. Very good quality all the way around--breads, veal piccata, French onion soup, and chocalate mouse cake. Atmosphere and service superb.

Purchased a "Living Social" coupon for dinner here and used it on my birthday with my hubby. We had a great meal with wonderful (yes OLD SCHOOL) attentive service and atmosphere. Even with the coupon, (counting the cost of the coupon) we spent over $100, so know upfront, folks, that this is a "special dinner" kind of restaurant. It is... More

It's my BF's birthday, so it's his choice of where we go to celebrate. Last year it was authentic Chinese food, and this year he decided to go old school and here we are at the Harrah's "old school" Steakhouse. My sis was staying over at my house, and my BF asks if she wants to go too. I'm doing... More

We've been dining here for 25 years and never encountered an unpleasant evening. This night was slightly off. It was Super Bowl Sunday and they were very busy, but I don't think that is an excuse considering what you pay for a meal here. The food was outstanding, but the service lacked. We usually feel so pampered here, but we... More

A great restaurant below a Casino. Wonderful steaks, rack of lamb and filets. Everything was served perfectly. The highlight was the Caesar salad prepared at the table and the Onion soup which was served in a large fresh onion bowl. A Reno institution.

The service was poor. Guys who have been there for ever and don't seem to care the way they use too. The room is dark and cramped. The food is good but average. Much better steakhouse in reno so Harrahs needs to get it together or they will loose out. The early bird dinning is worthwhile because of the price... More

I ate here with a co-worker on my last business trip to Reno. It is not the that food is so bad….the issue is that the food is nowhere near worth what they charge. The steak sauce has an ‘odd’ flavor – the mashed potatoes were colored green….the NY strip was not as lean as it should have been. For... More
