I love this place. The sushi is always excellent. My favorite is the misfits. The only thing is its always so busy that we find ourselves going on off hours just to avoid the crowd.

Had the zucchini pancakes which were delicious but be prepared to wait. Also tried various vegetarian tools, all quite good. Not a lot of one on one attention but good food.
Finally got to try this sushi joint for lunch and "Yay! I'm a fan." The interior is all black and white and grey, with a very urban hip feel, incl the music they were playing. When our "old" sushi place got a little too complacent with its ambiance in the restaurant, we found Tha Joint.
The only negative thing is that it's a long ways from our house, BUT that hasn't kept us from eating there once a week. Their all you can eat sushi lunch ends at 4, and until then the lunch price...

I've eaten here a few times since moving to the Sparks area, and am impressed with the freshness of food at this restaurant. It is a bit expensive, but it is sushi, and I'm willing to pay a premium for good fresh fish that won't make me ill. Love this place.
If you visit Sparks, NV and are in search of "The Best" sushi, do not miss The Joint. I eat here as often as I can - sushi once a week for me! Every item has been excellent! Rolls are outstanding and beautifully presented!! Prices are fair - pay the "all you can eat" fee and gorge!
The Sparks-Reno area has a lot of great sushi joints. Tha Joint is a newer location off of Pyramid Hwy in north Sparks and it is on par with the many fine fresh fish locations.
Tha Joint has the freshest and best tasting sushi I've ever had. There roles are great with some of the originals and others with there own twist to them. I loved the atmosphere they have created and the service was great. The staff makes you feel welcome and make the experience fun and very enjoyable.
We went to this Sushi place to celebrate my son's report card (at his request) - he had been there before, we never had.
The waiting area is very small and the place was PACKED so we waiting for 20 minutes outside in the cold because we are a family of 4 and there was not enough room to wait....

Been to the Atlantis and other spots in Reno, this is by far the best, at a great price. Why the "Joint" ? The restaurant has...
