We have been here several times but after today, we will not be returning. The last 2 visits (both this season) have provided a list of complaints from order errors, lack of customer service and actual eye-rolling from employees but today the owner on 2 separate occasions made my well behaved 5yo feel badly (once for having her hand on... Sawyer's makes their own ice cream and it is very good. They may have a special flavor or two when you visit. The rest of the fare is average but fine.

Sawyer's is known for its ice cream, but they offer many fast food type items. Everything I have eaten there has been good, but it is a bit pricey if you take your family there. Plenty of tables inside and outside in the summer. Seasonal, so don't head up in the winter months.

I have been traveling between Boston and Gilford for years. For years, Sawyers has been a must stop. My visit to the Lakes region would not be complete without a stop at Sawyers for a lobster roll. Great lobster rolls. My BF usually will get a chicken salad and my friend loves the chicken salad. Reminiscent of an old country... More

They make their own ice cream and every flavor is fantastic! There are lots of places to sit, inside or out, so it's great even in bad weather.

We ride our motorcycle here 2-3 times every summer for the last 12 years. We like the lobster roll: No mayo, a generous amount of lobster in a properly toasted bun. Expensive, but worth it. We have the lobster rolls with baked beans and cole slaw. But it's the ice cream that we especially come for. High quality. Love the... More

Mt husband and I have been coming here with the family for years. Seafood is always fresh and delicious. Portions could be better for the money.

Sawyers hit the spot after driving through inflated, tourist trap areas along the lakes. We were satisfied with the friendly and helpful service and delighted with the outside seating options. Our meal was like home-grilling without the effort and cost under $20. We would definitely recommend Sawyers.

Had a family meal here and we were all happy with the taste and freshness. The seafood is outstanding. The prices are a little on the high side but seem worth it. Love the clam strips and mussels. A little disappointed that they did not have clam fritters.
