We stopped for lunch after a wine tasting at Zorvino Winery in nearby Sandown. Virtually all of the reviews we had read were consistently excellent and this proved to be true. As others have said, this is a hidden gem. It is a very casual location to enjoy excellent food and service. Our server was helpful, efficient and fun. Our... More

Just had the most excellent dinner at the Lobster Q! Sean Hopkins was very gracious, paired our meals with some very awesome beers. Oysters were sweet and briney! Angry Streamers were outstanding! Crab cakes were scrumptious! Lobster roll was better than the Beach Plum's. Scallops, baked, delicate and sweet! No wonder the Phantom Gourmet gave them the GOLD Plate!! Kudos,... More

Have been to the Lobster Q a couple of times and enjoyed both visits. First visit had the fried clam plate which was very good. Second visit had the 3 meat combo ( I had ribs, pulled pork and smoked kielbassa) which was also good. It was explained however that you could use any of the seafood offerings in the... More

Sean was working the bar and thought it was appropriate to make nasty comments. He's lucky he didn't catch a fist.

We have eaten here 5 times in the last 2 years, the food is very good! I am a BBQ fan and LOVE the ribs! The other 3 are seafood fans and love most other items!! The cornbread is a MUST HAVE, and sometimes we order it 2 times as the side to have extra!! One trip my son wanted... More

A true New Englander has high expectations when it comes to seafood, so when you find a seafood restaurant that is as good as the Lobster Q you have found a place that you be going back to. If you are heading out for seafood, head right over to the "Q"... When Sean (the proprietor) comes by to see how... More

An unlikely location for a seafood restaurant, but you'll be pleasantly surprised. The added bonus of barbecue offerings makes this a go-to place when you need a menu to please all tastebuds. I've dined here at least half a dozen times and never been disappointed. While I've always stuck the seafood items, it's enough to keep me driving inland for... More

My family has been coming here for a couple of years and we have always had a good meal. I usually order the Lobster Mac & Cheese and it is very good.. The prices are good but I agree with a past reviewer that they can be high for some items. My sons 17th birthday in April we came here... More

Went here with my husband for dinner. Food was very good. Owner comes around to each table to see how your meal was.

This place is fantastic. Please disregard the "too expensive" review. They probably never even stayed to eat. Our first visit was better than average, an excellent fisherman's platter (which is usually about $5 to $6 more expensive at any seafood joint) and a pulled pork platter. The dessert was the star, however, home made cornbread with ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate... More
