Service was excellent. Food was great but a bit pricey. Outdoor eating space was nice. Felt very welcome.

Phenomenal food, lovely bar. Mark is their biggest asset. Friendly atmosphere coupled with great food makes you want to stay all day. Can't wait to visit again. Make sure you try their Clam Chowder and Chicken Salad on a croissant.

We ordered the tuna salad sandwich this time. It was grey, and very mushy...very disappointing, the fruit side was boring. Melon, and a little pineapple...we should have sent it back because the food that everyone around us was eating, looked delicious. Setting is quite nice. Service is fine...price a little high...

Right next door to the Virginia Hotel. We ate here 3 days of our vacation. Food was consistently delicious. Huevos Rancheros and blueberry pancakes especially good.

We enjoyed our stay a Carroll Villa Cape May. We took advantage of a Travel Zoo promotion. The people at the Inn were gracious. The breakfast at the Mad Batter was delicious and the drinks at Happy hour were great. Music on sunday night of a local band was a surprise and a real treat. Can't wait to go back.

Decided to get a light bite to eat on our first night at Cape May- hands down one of the best burgers I have ever had! Reasonbly priced, great service in a casual atmosphere. We dined in an enclosed porch where they even had a space heater on to take the chill out of the air. Will definitely return!

We found the Mad Batter by accident, and got the best breakfast of our vacation in Cape May. The French Toast and pancakes are excellent, as is the service. The outdoor seating is great as well; we would definately recommend to anyone visiting Cape May.
