We were at the Hampton (see separate review) and looking for steak, and Badlands Grill was recommended to us. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service very good. The food was all quite good, especially my Bananas Foster dessert. It was fine dining, and we ate well, so the cost was appropriate for that. We would definitely eat here again.

On a trip via Gallup, New Mexico, our hotel recommended Badlands Grill. Our dinner was excellent - the New York strip steak was perfectly chargrilled, very lean, and flavorful; we also had it served with grilled asparagus. We are so thankful for finding this quality establishment. Our server, Chelsea, provided great recommendations for beverages and food that hit the mark.... More

Badlands Grill is a good option for a nicely prepared steak dinner. We had the New York strip steak which was moist and tasty cooked to our specification. The baked potato was cooked thoroughly- light and fluffy. The salad was nothing special. Decor was southwest centered.

On a cross country trip on Route 66, our Dining and Lodging Guide (Route 66) recommended Badlands Grill. Tonight my wife and another couple also on the Route 66 trip ate here. It was outstanding!! The Green Chile stew soup was exceptional. It contained prime rib beef and potatoes and as the name implies, it was spicy! For main course... More

We were tired and hungry from a long day of travelling and just wanted a quiet place for dinner. This restaurant was perfect, just what we needed. Food was great and the service was quick, attentive, and very pleasant. Highly recommend.

I have celiac disease and our waitress, Sasha, was very helpful. She made sure that nothing I ordered had any hidden gluten...she was terrific! My husband and I split the buffalo sirloin. It was perfectly cooked and had great flavor. There is a $4 split plate fee. Considering that neither one of us could have finished that steak on our... More

The food at Badlands Grill is absolutely heavenly! The service gleamed. The Green Chili Wontons and Poppers are very good. With your meal, you get a soup and salad (I suggest the Green Chili Stew.) I had the Black Dahlia as my entree - I couldn't have been happier!
