Description: Doc Martin's Restaurant is an acclaimed fine dining establishment located in a registered historic landmark. A Taos tradition for locals and visitors alike, the warm ambiance of the main latilla room in Doc's has been a gathering place since the Taos Society of Artist's first met here in the 1920's and 30's. Headed by Executive Chef Gary “Zippy” White, our menu is a presentation of New American and Northern New Mexican cuisine, specializing in fresh organic foods from the Southwest. Known for its incredible value and extensive breadth of selections from old to new world, our wine list has earned Wine Spectator's "Best Of" Award of Excellence for twenty-one consecutive years. Pastry Chef Gayle Glanz creates sumptuous “beyond belief” desserts nightly that tantalize the senses and send our customers away with sweet memories.

I had dinner with two friends last night. The (teenage) server was so full of herself that she was unable to listen. We asked for a drink straight-up and we got it on the rocks. We accepted the first drink with no complaints. We asked for a second drink, this time specifying that we did not want to have ice... More

The waitstaff are nice, but the food is barely average. Dinner here is ridculously overpriced. Lunch is a better bet. For dinner, try across the street at Grahmas Grille.

Great local band, good food. Centrally located in historic, old Taos Hotel. Great shopping nearby in Bent Street. Recommend that you try!

We ate at 8:30ish on a Sunday night. Ordered the "lighter fare" - split a chile rellenos and each had the shrimp salad/apple salad. Food was delicious, our waitress was fantastic - she offered great opinions, ideas and even chatted with us about sights in town. Drinks were tasty - many margaritas to choose from and a good beer selection... More

was just great. So many great dishes, it was hard to choose. We have plenty of great Asian food in Oklahoma City, and we're a bit picky, but this was as good as anything that we're used to back home!

food was over spiced, and over cooked not what we expected from Doc Martins, we were also sad to find out that it was not a full service restaurant : - (

This is more upscale - the better restaurant of the Taos Inn. Great food and wait staff. I eat here almost every time I go to Taos. This time the only problem was the hostess. She led me to the table closest to the kitchen and farthest from the window. Not to worry, it'll be a different hostess next time.

Had dinner at Doc Martin's last week after a long day fishing trip. We were starving after being outdoors in the cold. The chile rellenos were first class as usual--deep friend with a golden crust. The buffalo burger with sweet potato fries hit the spot--almost too much to eat even given my huge appetite. Wine selection is ok, but the... More

Went for both lunch and dinner and had Mexican food both times; however, the menu is broader. The chili rellenos are especially good. I thought the prices were low for the amount of food served.

Great late breakfasts (opens at 11am on weekdays, which is strange for hotel restaurant). There are breakfast items on weekday lunch menu, breakfast burritos with great green chile. Weekend brunch with extended breakfast items. Blue corn blueberry with berry butter and real maple syrup are awesome. Lunch and dinner are very good too. The goat cheese green chile relleno is...
