This was my first trip to this restaurant. I was not impressed by the food. The Chicken Sukhothai was completely drowned in the teriyaki sauce it came with. Even the bowl of sticky rice could not absorb the overwhelming amount of sauce. I would have thought a dish with the name sake of the restaurant would be prepared much better.... More

We've eaten here several times and it has always been good. Nice atmosphere, good service and the food is wonderful for the price. Make sure you ask for the condiments which include several sauces of varying heat. And the picture on the wall of the Royal wedding is fascinating.

Delicious Thai food. The duck was moist, vegetables fresh and nicely steamed. Panang curry was rich and flavorful. Unfortunately the service was poor. The waiter didn't know the cost of the fish dish marked MP; brought us a different bottle of proseco than we ordered which was more expensive (we caught it before he opened); didn't let us taste the... If you want authentic Thai food in a warm inviting atmosphere, go here. If you want that Americanized bland chinese type fare, go somewhere else. This is first class, all the right spices and flavors. If you are a Thai food junkie with high standards, you must try this. Great location for a walk through town before or after your... More

Its my favorite thai place in Dutchess county. The flavor of the food stays with you long after you finished dining. Yummy.

The city Beacon offers quite a lot, but if you have a chance to check out Sukhothai please do! When we had our first meal, the waitress asked if we would like to sit by the window. We had a view of different murals that had been done on an old city building. The food was fantastic. I've never had... More

Pleasantly surprised, I really liked it! My daughter loves this place, so I tried it. Had one of the specials with beef and rice, really good!

I've had better Thai, but enjoy going to Sukhothai when I need my Thai "fix". The shrimp and pineapple curry is delicious. Usually the dishes can be prepared according to your request as far as how spicy you want. Service can vary, and sometimes the restaurant is uncomfortably cold. One annoyance: rice is included with all the curries, but if... More

My wife and I went to Sukhothai for the first time this afternoon for her birthday. The lunch special included a soft drink, spring rolls (veggie or chicken) and an entree for the regular price of an entree. Service was friendly and prompt. The restaurant was not busy, Thursday around 12:30pm, so we had very little wait. The spring rolls... More

Enjoyed the chicken in green curry for lunch. Perfect portion size cooked to order as far as how spicy you want it. Great value for lunch. Would definitely like to return for dinner in the future.
