We just returned from a 2-day trip to Seneca Lake and ate at Port's Restaurant just outside of Geneva, NY. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's very cozy inside and the food is spectacular. Their normal menu has many excellent choices and they have a daily list of specials that's as large as the regular menu.... More

It is always hard to choose from the special list as there are so many tantalizing taste bud possibilities offered--from unique salads, various fish options to mixed grills (seafood paired w various cuts of beef). On this particular visit I started with the field greens/apple/cheddar salad which was perfectly dressed and a generous portion. I continued my meal with a... More

Ports is one of those places that confirms the old adage, "you musn't judge a book by its cover". Not much on the outside, but more than made up for inside - the food is fresh, local and amazingly prepared, and the service is as good as it gets. Very nice wine list compliments any meal and desserts to die... More

Food is outstanding. Small menu but about 20 specials every day. Finger Lakes wines served. Outside of building isn't impressive but inside you can see the chef in the kitchen preparing the food. A bit pricey, but worth it!

Really enjoyed our meal at Ports. Food was very good and the service was friendly and attentive. Not the greatest location for a restaurant of this quality in the Finger Lakes but definitely worth the trip otherwise.

We were lucky to get a reservation - this place is very busy. The food was good, dessert even better. Wait staff was pleasant, and we were seated right on time.

Where do I start. My husband and I had planned a get away weekend in the Fingerlakes and ended up Friday night at Port's. First off the previous reviews said you could not see the Lake, not true, while they don't have lake side seating you can see the lake from the restaurant. The service was very attentive, knowledgable, and... More

There is no doubt in our minds, my wife and I, that our visit to Ports was absolutely worth it. Everyone we spoke to, and all the reviews we read, said that Ports was totally top flight. We agree. Our dinners were equal to or better than any we've had in Los Angeles, Seattle, or Philadelphia. Our server guided us... More
