I dine here numerous times throughout the year and I am always happy with the food and service. My kids go crazy for the Mississippi Mud Pie, have to get one!

This restaurant my wife and I have been going to for over 20 years. Their menu has a great selection available, and a great salad bar to go with it. All the people there are very professional. For lunch, try a sandwich which comes with the salad bar... you will not leave hungry. And that is at a very reasonable...

We stopped in twice over the weekend while in the area for some hiking. We can say that it remains our favorite "splurge" in Lake George, providing us a relaxing and casual dining experience that hit home. The Chicken Havarti was exceptionally prepared and provided a nice flavor mix with the asparagus and tomato under the melted cheese on the...

First time at the Log Jam in years. The atmosphere is inviting, gives you that authentic feeling of entering a true lodge...even smells of hickory smoke. Really felt good.
Service is good, a step above the diner, but not bad.
We had calamari and shrimp rolled in bacon for appetizers....tasty, but not raving good.
Drinks were ample, served well, and...

My husband and I will forever love the Log Jam. This is the place he first proposed to me. Well we came there this month(April) to celebrate 9 lovely years. The waiter was very pleasant. Everyone was pretty much casual except for us lol. We were both dressed up. That's okay we were celebrating something lol. The atmosphere was very...

I stay in area on business about once a quarter and eat here every time. Each time I go they have a whole new menu as they change with the seasons. Every meal that I ever had here I have enjoyed and the salad bar that is included has many good choices. I would recommend to anyone visiting the area
This place is ok. The food is ok. The service is ok. The salad bar is ok. The fireplace, the lobster tank, the rustic decor, all ok. The price, well, for me it wasn't ok. For what you end up getting for the money, personally I would rather go to the Outback down the road in Queensbury.
We stopped in for lunch and grabbed the salad bar and split a sammie -- great variety of quality ingredients on the salad bar, including gourmet breads you slice YOURSELF! Salad bar complimented the Scallop Gumbo and the Saratoga sandwich we split. Excellent service from Talia and the whole staff work together to make each trip special.
My husband and I had the best meal we have ever had here!! We travel up and down the east coast yearly, and this was by far the best meal we have ever had!!! Or waitresses were excellent, so friendly and very on top of everything! We never had to ask for a refill and everything came out right on...

This was a favorite stop for lunch for my husband and I many times but we were very disappointed with our last visit on March 21, 2013. We found the salad bar food very unappealing. All the bread loaves offered seemed stale, the salad bar bowl contained ice berg lettuce, they told us they were no longer offering romaine because...

I am sorry you were disappointed with you last visit. We have stopped putting Romaine lettuce on the salad bar because of the price and quality of the product, but in addition to our Iceberg mix, we also offer fresh mixed greens which we believe is an excellent alternative. All of our breads, dressings, salads and soups are home made...
