This is a typical New York Deli with great hot food, sandwiches and deserts. You can get breakfast, lunch or dinner all here. Never a bad meal!

Not fair to call this a deli as it has a very good prime meat butsher shop. The fried chicken at lunch may be the best on the Island. Great sandwiches. A must while in Montauk.

I had to sample the chicken of course. Excellent, crispy fried with a side of creamy mac and cheese and cole slaw. If not for the extremely high salt content of their coating I would have taken home a bag. A little less salt guys, there's no need to cover the taste of the chicken with sodium! The best place in Montauk for fresh meats, deli sandwiches, and fried or whole chickens. They have a lot of fresh salads, and sides as well. When you don't want to a restaurant for lunch, because you rather be at the beach, then Herb's Market is the place for you!

Love this market. They really have everything, from soup to milk and cookies, you need for your stay. Short of a huge supermarket Herb's is where to for all your grocery needs!

Herb's market reminds me of a maze but the fried chicken is worth seeking it out. Its average in price but not in quality. Anything you get is pretty good. Get it to go.

Herb's has great food--there is usually a line, but the wait is worth it. The steaks are incredible....best in MTK in our experience.

fresh and delicious fried chicken! i called ahead to order 36 pieces of fried chicken for lunch for 12-15 people. it was ready in an hour. picked up a few sides and everyone was very happy. the chicken was crispy, moist and so very tasty. skip the overpriced, not fresh, unfriendly restaurants and go here for lunch and dinner.
