Wandered in on a Saturday night. Sat at the bar and tried a variety of the appetizers and dinner items. Food was excellent. Owner and staff very attentive and friendly to everyone. Highly recommend you visit if in Rochester.

I must admit this type of restaurant is not my favorite style but I did enjoy my visit. I went with some co-workers for dinner and we ordered the Tapas to share. I would have preferred to have such an intimate meal with family as opposed to co-workers, but they chose so I went along. The restaurant is actually in...

I love this place! The food is great, the staff is fun and the bar is a blast! This is the best hangout in Rochester!
This restaurant is tucked in an unappetizing neighborhood with little street traffic and is easy to miss. Upstairs is a bar that was quite busy; we went right downstairs to the restaurant.
It's dark and noisy and the sheets serving as wall hangings do little to hide the rough-hewn nature of the basement. Nonetheless, the food was surprisingly good, with...

They do so many different dishes really well. My favorite tapas has to be the tuna napoleon with the paella being my favorite entree. Perfect place for happy hour- especially on Friday free apps!
Tapas is by far the best restaurant in Rochester. Not that there is a lot of competition, as Rochester cuisine has a long history of being mediocre and not at all competitive with even smaller cities (eg Chapel Hill). That said, the variety of appetizers and entrees at Tapas is diverse, with a choice of Asian, fish and seafood, meat,...

My husband took an anniversary trip up to Rochester, NY and discovered this awesome restaurant. A full bar upstairs with a hip feel and a really quaint downstairs dining area complete with a few private, romantic booths. The outside dining was so pretty and it seemed to transport us to another place. Food was amazing. If you like Tapas, and...

Went there based on good reviews on TripAdvisor. In slightly negative mood because Rochester was gloomy and depressing on a rainy November evening. Not to mention the somewhat sketchy neighborhood. But the restaurant is simply excellent, can recommend it with no reservation. I had three tapa dishes, one vietnamese-style fresh rolls with peanut butter sauce, one scallops, and one lamb...

I liked everything about this restaurant, which was kind of a funky, eclectic, rathskellar/salsa place. Do NOT be put off by the decor when you first enter; stay, eat, and drink. The food was incomparable; I had the filet with asparagus & garlic mashed potatoes -- the best I have ever had--all of it! Highly, highly recommend!
