Dan's paper raves about this place. I attest they are wrong. The food is ok and the pizza is average for long Island but it is far from the best. La Capannina in Wainscott and 30 Madison St Sag Harbor (631) 725-2747 Il Capuccino in Sag Harbor [Zagat Rated] are superior and worth the little drive. If your staying in... More

Ate here twice (in take out terms) during our stay in Southampton. Pizza was awesome, fresh ingredients, good base, good sauce. Pasta was as good. The portions are huge. We over ordered 1st night, and there was enough to feed our 2 friends who couldnt find a restaurant due to the snow! Polite service, nicely done.

This is not the kind of restaurant you think of when you think of Southampton. We had wine and pizza and were very happy. We shared a large pizza with meatballs and sausage and it was excellent. We took home canolis for dessert. It's extremely casual and the staff is very nice.

In a very crowded and very expensive Hamptons food scene, this is the best Italian restaurant, period. Great for family dinners. Family recipes--all made with first-press olive oil

The previous review only tells me that he was at the wrong restuarant. La Parmigiana is a constant delight with it service, staff, food and enviorment. We have always had a fantastic experience at this restuarant when in the Village and we were there over Thanksgiving weekend and it was fabulous

We had to wait for a table which made no sense since 3 were available. Try to find our server? Next to impossible. After she finally showed up and took our order we had to hunt down someone else to find out where our drinks, bread, and salads were. Finding our server throughout the meal was like trying to find... Restaurant is a blast from the past. Wood paneling, long counter, warm bread, homey italian favorites! The adjoining deli has more treats than I can list. (Cookies, cold cuts, olives... yum)

Get the thin crust pie, or some pasta, the meatballs are pretty good. A great value, as the portions are huge, and the prices are reasonable. Great family spot.

My son ordered a chicken parm wedge--it was OLD THIN GRILLED chicken with some strange cheese and tons of sauce as if to try and hide that it wasn't really chicken parm, My dinner--Chicken Marsala--was very strange--I think it was a curry sauce over processed chicken...Pretty much everything was so GROSS! and VERY EXPENSIVE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TERRIBLE PLACE!
