Food was good. But not great. I expected some more appealing presentation of the fresh soft shell crabs noted on the specials board than 'deep fried'. My wife was more impressed with her snapper special, which did look good but was a bit dry. We wound up eating outside, because our proposed table (reserved in person a day earlier) was... More

A month later my mouth still waters when I think abut the meal i had at Que Sera. Quiet and nondescript from the outside, table cloths, full bar, lovely dining from the inside. Also a patio for outside dining in the warm weather! Great service. And everything from the first mouthful of soup through the last bite of the bread... More

Visited for dinner with our college age kids. Food was great and service couldn't have been better. We have a cabin in the area and definetly be back.

Quiet and small, mostly an older clientele, knowledge of gluten-free options, good wines and service. Pricey for the area, but very glad to have this kind of option in Black Mountain.

We went to eat after seeing that the restaurant was #1 on tripadvisor and must say that we were very disappointed.... The waitstaff was nice and friendly for the small town feel, but you can't eat them. I had the shrimp scampi that had shrimp that was uncleaned ($22). They were also a little over done. My date had the... More

The building is very interesting looking but don't let it fool you. We loved this place! Fantastic food! From quail to fish.. it was all so good. I am not a big key lime person but we did split one piece... and I have to tell you - heaven in your mouth! Have never had a better piece. The pies... More

This is a "must dining" experience while in Black Mountain. Small but with an amazing menu including a surprising number of additional daily offerings in a home feeling restaurant actually run by its caring husband-and-wife owners. And the gumbo and key lime pie are outstanding.

What an amazing little find with huge taste. We came for Sunday brunch huevos rancheros was the best we've ever had. We had a party of 4 and each of our meals was incredible, and the staff was so friendly and quick. Highly recommend!

Que Sera is very unassuming looking from the outside, but don't let that fool you. Inside, a fine dining experience awaits as no other in Black Mountain .... or for that matter, the entire Asheville area. It's small and intimate, so avoid disappointment, I'd call ahead for a reservation. Ingredients are fresh beyond a fault and most of it locally... More

In all our dining all over the world, we have never had better food than at Que Sera in Black Mountain, NC. The taste of all the dishes can only be described as sublime. I wish I could adequately describe what these cooks achieve!! No flavor is overdone, too heavy, too anything - it is just perfect to the point... More
