Not sure what happened between the time of all the 'terrible' comments and today (Mother's Day 2013) but our food was very good and the service was excellent. Granted there were few people there but the single waitress kept the iced tea glass full and was very pleasant. We had the fried green tomatoes which, to my Northern palate were... More

We drove in from gattlinburge to get some homemade salsa from the American trading co. Delicious! Won't have anymore until July after the garden comes in. We were starving so made a quick descision to eat here. The waiter mentioned the cooks were the owners, so when I found a hair on one of the fried green tomatoes you would... More

After waiting 15 minutes you will be seated so you can wait some more to get a dirty menu. It took another 15 minutes to see waitress again and order. She came back about 10 minutes later with my beer, with the glass tucked UNDER HER ARM! Our food arrived after 25 minutes with both our orders messed up. The... More

Ate here before taking the polar express train ride. Food was gross. They do everything and anything to save money including watering down dressings (ew) and charging for sharing with your spouse (I'm not kidding). This is the kind of place I expect to see on one of those restaurant rehab shows where they yell at the owners for poor... More

Not our first choice in Bryson City, but the kids like to come here and get a window seat and watch for the train. We've had both lunch and dinners here and find the food so so. But, I must say...they have some of the best chicken wings that I've eaten. It's funny too...sometimes they're available and sometimes "we're out... More

The food was awful, service awful. The worst part....WAY overpriced for the crap they called food. Very disappointed. Word to the wise....do not eat here! Restaurant did not seem very clean. Really wish we had read the reviews prior to deciding to eat here. Lesson learned!

Don't waste your time or money! This was the worst food and derive ever! Gratuity was added and I wouldn't have left the waitress given her dime. We had to get up and ask for refills twice and the food had no taste and some not cooked properly...

We arrived in Bryson City a little early so we could eat dinner before boarding our 8pm train. We settled on one of the only open restaurants (on a Saturday evening for dinner!), The Station Restaurant. It is conveniently located across the street from the train station. That might be about all it has going for it though – the... More

The restaurant was crowded and service was not great. The waitress seemed a little frazzled, but we were in no hurry so it was alright. I had the rainbow trout and it was good. My husband got a HUGE steak and it really lacked flavor to me, but he liked it.

We were visiting Bryson City for the day and stopped in for lunch on Saturday. There are several favorable reviews posted in the front window and this was why we decided to eat lunch at the Station Restaurant. Service was fine, but the food was not good. I ordered chicken tenders and fries that looked great, but the tenders had... More
