Go before or after your whitewater trip, either to fuel-up or recuperate after a fun day on the water. Or just go and watch the rafters come down the river. The atmosphere is befittingly basic and the service is laid back, as to be expected. Try a 'Sherpa' bowl, they're delicious.

Once again, Rivers End is the place to end at NOC. Given it open location, it can be a challenge with the insects. Never quite sure there is anything that can be done. But, don't take that as it being dirty. It is always clean, good food, and friendly staff.

Rivers end restaurant: Worst veggie burger ever! And we have had quite a few! Mushy, over-salted, over-spiced, and fried...terrible! We were starving but couldnt finish it! Plain Boca burger would be vast improvement.
