We've been hearing about Orchard for years but only recently had dinner there. It was worth the wait. Fantastic! Food, wine, service all excellent!

My wife and I dined at the Orchardon a Friday evening. We were seated promptly and orders taken. Liked the fact that the, "Mixologist" came out and greeted us. The drinks were well done. We ended up at the Orchard with another couple on a Saturday night for dinner. Just a delicious meal. The lamb was unbelievably good, all entrees were wonderful. In a small room at a corner table so easy to hear everyone at the table. We will be back.

Dinner at The Orchard is always a special treat. Food always great. Service good. The only negative is making phone reservations. Their auto attendant system can be quite tedious to negotiate. Other than that. I would give them 4 Stars.

The smell of mold almost knocked me out when we first walked in. Then they seated us on a porch with a propane fireplace that had no exhaust. Excellent meal...Scottish salmon, grits w spinach; duck with risotto. Great service, no mountain view but beautiful grassy area and trees. Didn't try it but they offered moonshine mixed drinks. Salmon was $ 30, duck was $28. Quiet atmosphere in old house.

We go to Cashiers every year. We were finally successful in being in town when restaurant was open. April is the beginning of their season with limited nights. Very rustic.
