The Flipside is a fun place to listen to music and enjoy good food! I've eaten here for both lunch and dinner and have always had a great meal! Enjoy outdoor dining on a beautiful spring or fall day!

I have lived in Clayton for 4 years. I have eaten at the Flip Side four times during those 4 years. I keep giving them another shot, but yet again they disappoint me. The food is good for the most part, but even that is not as good as it should be for the price. [$14 for two small crab... More

I love the flip side for drinks, live music and their hummus is delicious for a healthy snack. My last visit for lunch, I was disappointed with the Beef & Brie sandwich. The description said it came with sautéed onions, but it was red onions and I couldn't even bite through them. The onions in the rings were small and... More

Four of us had a good meal in this unique place. It is very small and very casual but serves good food at a reasonable price. I had tilapia with some pasta. I had wanted tilapia with baked apple salsa but they have not served it for months, thougt is still on the menu. Other members of our group had... More

On the road. Great bleu cheese burger, tasty Reuben (though a little low on saurkraut). Good fries. The fried green tomatos breading was generic, mass produced type, a downstroke. Does someone mass market fried green tomatoes? Excellent and interesting local microbrew beers available (1 each!). Reasonable prices. Passing through? Try this place!

A must-try for anyone who lives in Clayton. Surprises me how few locals know of The Flipside. Go - drinks and appetizers, full meal, late night for live music. Whatever you prefer. You are certain to enjoy! My favorites: portobello mushroom fries, nachos (caution: HUGE portion), steak with fresh, LOCAL vegetables. Lunch menu is excellent as well. There are a... More

Like the burgers. They try to bring some atmosphere to Clayton through their many special events and live music. Worth the stop

I found this place courtesy of Trip Advisor. Some colleauges who work in Clayton had never heard of it. It is downtown in an old store of some sort. There is a small seating area upstairs, a small party room in the back and huge party room downstairs. They have nightly drink specials, and a few good beers on tap.... More

I enjoy eating at the flipside whenever I can. This is a place to escape cookie cutter chain menus and enjoy something different. Portobello mushroom fries with wasabi mayonnaise is one of my faves. Very comfortable, relaxed atmosphere and great service.

Gourmet food in a small town setting - non-pretentious and good live music; full bar.
