This is the third time we have been to this little French/Italian fusion restaurant in an old tobacco warehouse that has been repurposed as an apartment complex. There are several nice little eateries tucked away in this district; but this is by far and away the best of the bunch. The duck confit is outstanding, and the seafood is always... More

We took some guests to 604 West Village for dinner on Friday. Very nice place... lovely atmosphere, attractive decor, and good service, but noisy!!! This is the story w/repurposed buildings in NC! They make the space look wonderful, but don't pay attention to the noise level. There were only 4 os us and we all had to shout. Prices are... More

Dinner with my brother and wife is always fun. They took us to 604 to share their new restaurant find. Most of us chose 2 items from the appetizer menu for our dinner choices. I had a grilled octopus seafood salad that was exceptional. Followed with a tortellini that was wonderful. My wife had a fish special and a salad.... More

This upscale little restaurant, which is tucked away in an inconspicuous corner of one of downtown Durham's many repruposed tobacco warehouses offers a fine French - Italian fusion menu. The lobster linguine is particularly outstanding. All courses were quite good and the service attentive. The one small thing they fall down on: the homemade dinner rolls are absolutely bland. More

Best steak in town. Super flavorful and tender. Came with creamy mashed potatoes and succulent asparagus. A classic dish done extremely well. More

We showed up without a reservation and decided to eat at the bar. Wonderful decor and atmosphere. My wife had "the best soup I've ever had" (wild mushroom) and a salad. I had the risotto which was fabulous. The bartender (who was serving us) was working hard getting drinks for everybody in the restaurant and when we were done with... More

Very decent Italian food housed in an old tobacco factory/warehouse in downtown Durham. The hot seafood salad, and pasta with lamb shank were excellent. Good ambience but subdued lighting was darker than we prefer. We were rushed and didn't get to sample the menu - but there were many fine choices including a grilled veal chop. More

My husband and I went with another couple using a Groupon. The staff welcomed us warmly and the service was very attentive. All of our appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts were delicious. The big surprise came when my husband was happily finishing his veal chop (most expensive item on the menu @ $34) with about 3 or 4 bites left.... More
