Was disappointed with the Garlic bread. Was a toasted bun with a slice of cheese and garlic. I want garlic rolls or knots. i would go back - just... More

I ordered mussels with white sauce, a favorite dish of mine... in most cases... When I took a bite of a mussel, I found that it had a horrible taste. The mussels that were served to me were rancid and partially decomposed. When I could finally get the waitresses attention, she was not apologetic at all. I expected the manager... More

Great food, one of the best Italian restaurants. I always check my take out orders, there for a while, something was missing from the order. The staff in Gastonia at the register are moody.

I am from New England, so I know a good Italian restaurant from a bad one and this one used to be great, but not anymore. My husband and I finally got a night out alone and we made the 30 minute ride just to go to this restaurant. We got the fried calamari and I had to add salt... More

Italino son in law from Sicily agrees it's like dining at home on the island. Pizza with the egg, all the pasta to remember home with mamma. Cio

We had heard good reviews of this restaurant, so we decided to try it. Being from NY we were excited to hear that Potafino's had a thin crust pizza. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and Shrimp fra diavolo for "take out." The pizza was very greasy and the sauce was very bland. They made a mistake and put a butter... More

This a great place for good Italian. The atmosphere is weak, however if you are looking for a quiet sit down, semi private atmosphere. Nonetheless, the food is very good and worth your time to eat here.

We had a small pizza and it was ok taste. The crust was crunchy which I like. The bread was cold. I would go back for their calzones and Stromboli because they load it with cheese. If you are a cheese person just ask for light cheese

Difficult to get great Italian in Gastonia... hey I grew up in NY where the Italian food is a basic part of the lifestyle... it's very good for the south and we are always pleased when we eat here.
