If you want the best coffee and omelets, definitely eat here. Be warned if you order a pancake, they are as big as the place! Get there early and take your camera, because there is plenty of photo ops!

I went to the Jolly Roger during OBX Bike Week a few times. Mostly for breakfast. Food quality and service was excellent. I would recommend the seafood omlet...I think that is what it's called, if not easy to figure out on the menue. Fantastic!
We dropped into the Jolly Roger for lunch with friends during a recent visit to the OBX. It is easy to see why this place has become a local legend.
They work hard to create and atmosphere here. It is noisy, cluttered and disheveled, but your welcome is warm and even feels sincere. The wait staff are clever and funny....

My husband and I had a really good experience here. It's a cute pirate-themed place. The staff is all dressed up in pirate costumes, and they even have their own Outer Banks gift shop with plenty of sale items. Our server was Michele who was absolutely wonderful with quick service. The manager Diana was very nice as well. The food...

I just loved Jolly Roger! The restaurant might not be for the people who do not like clutter in their life. For those us who do like interesting things in our lives, the restaurant has much to look at while you wait for service. The wood carved pirates were nice, and the one outside as well. My grandchildren loved the...

Oh, Jolly Roger, the things you’ve seen…This place is a local favorite, but it also attracts plenty of the vacation crowd. I mean, when you mix cheap drinks and karaoke seven days a week, you’re bound to come out with some good stories. Right away, you know you’ll be able to create a good time, as outside there are wooden...

We stopped here for dinner. Lots of great choices and food was delicious! The staff was fun, friendly and went out of their way to make a great experience. Portions were big! I had the sausage and peppers, my husband had shrimp, my older on had ravioli and the younger one grilled cheese. We were all pleased. Would definitely recommend!
We live in the OBX and go here frequently- although not much when summer season starts. The decor is eclectic and we even had our wedding breakfast there- as we got married dressed as a pirate and his wench. The staff is always friendly and treat us well. The food is wonderful- very well prepared and always plenty to eat....

I was looking to have a salad and spagetti. The salad was ok at best, the bread that was served with the salad was cold. The spagetti was ordered as a side order, it came out cold to tap water warm. I asked the server to heat it up in the microwave for 30 - 40 seconds, when it came...

My biggest regret is that I didn't skip lunch. Somewhat counterintuitively, Jolly Roger's specialty is Italian (though they do have seafood and more traditional American fare). We had scallops, veal parmesian, and veal piccata. The servings were ENORMOUS and the food was good. A good value for the money.
