Upon arriving in Kure Beach for a weekend getaway our room was not ready so my husband and I decided to walk to the pier and check everything out. We were ready for lunch and thought we would try this Diner. I must say, The cheeseburger and fries we ordered was one of the best I have ever had. They... More

Have been to Kure Beach at least ten times and love the quiet atmosphere, but had never eaten at this restaurant even though many people had recommended it. As another reviewer said, after being away from home for a while, you start craving a home-style meal. Had pork chops with green beans and corn nuggets, Couldn't imagine what a corn... More

.... Not what it used to be. Small menu now, food was just OK, seemed awfully expensive for 2 samdwhiches, two fries and 2 drinks @ $25 plus an additional tip. Keep in mind this is not gourmet dining here, just convenient, small town lunch. Manager seemed quite unhappy and more interested in her cell phone then checking on her... More

This is the perfect small beach town spot. Breakfast here is always a must do on each visit to Kure Beach. Breakfast made the way it should; tasty and plentiful. Get the gravy biscuits on the side! Most important to note is the extremely friendly staff who always seem to make you feel like a "regular." Go and enjoy.

Before I went to Kure Beach this last time, I read the reviews for Kure Beach Diner, and was left with mixed feelings. When I arrived, I asked at The South Wind(where I stayed), they told me that the new owners of the Diner had some bugs to work out at first, but seemed to be on the right track.... More

We had breakfast there on the 2nd day of our vacation. The food was great as well as the prices! Staff is friendly and attentive. Restaurant is small, but that is what you would expect in a beach town. Definitely would eat there again :)

Been coming here for years, came to visit this time and realized new owner and name. I asked a waitress if the lady I was watching was the new owner, she said yes. I wanted to tell her to teach her some customer service skills and how to smile. Unfortunately it will still flourish because of the location but not... More
