I had he grouped wrap, and it might be the best casual seafood meal I've ever eaten. The house chips are delicious, as well. Portion size was adequate and prices were as expected. Our server was nice and attentive. Several different people waited on us at different points, and they got their lines crossed a few times...someone thought someone else... More

This place was recommended as having good seafood. Nearly everything was deep fried. We chose scallops wrapped in prosciutto and a grilled tuna sandwich. They were OK but not memorable. My coconut shrimp appetizer was over cooked. Servers were very nice and friendly. Not planning on going back.

We stopped by Jack MacKerels in Kure Beach for a late lunch after touring Fort Fisher. The restaurant has island decor and a good menu. We enjoyed our lunch, especially the fresh seafood.

My husband and I just "happened" upon Jack MacKerels while on a little discover adventure as we recently moved to Wilmington, NC. We have been back 3 weeks in a row. Just absolutely think the food is scrumptious and the staff is definitely excellent!

Four of us enjoyed our meal at this borderline tacky local restaurant. While the nautical theme was appropriate, it was quite dated. Our salmon and tuna were cooked perfectly to order. the Shrimp scampi was tasty and the chowder good. Service was good. We would certainly go again.

When we ate at Jack MacKerels our service was good. Our waiter was attentive and kept our glasses full. He offered suggestions from the menu. I had the two item combo, shrimp and scallops, fried. They were both cooked nicely with light breading. The sides were also good. My wife had the Herb Garlic Ribeye. It was cooked and seasoned... More

I go here on occasion as it's in the town where I live. The shrimp is always good. I had the seafood chowder last visit. It tasted like it had been in the steam table too long....and I ordered some bacon wrapped scallops. They had good flavor but were dry. Hubby and father in law always enjoy theirs though. Hubby... Everything on Jack Mack's menu is good. Wide variety. Menu items are expensive but I guess this is to be expected in a tourist town. However, they do run a lot of specials in the off season. We always sit in the bar area which has many large TVs and all the bartenders are great!

Easy bar and great selections. Couple of TVs located throughout the bar for sports. Food is good and has a seafood menu that is fantastic.

Awesome, specials & good people....The Ribeye is one of the best I have ever had! The bar is a great place to watch football on sundays, great beer specials....From Skip the bartender, to Daniel a server, the staff is just awesome! Great place to eat
