Had wonderful coffee and a pumpkin roll for breakfast. Told them what kind of coffee we each liked and they recommended an exact want!

Take a break from that Blue Ridge Parkway drive and treat yourself to all this and some wonderful conversation at the Books & Beans. I only wish I'd had longer to linger!!!
It was beautiful place on top of a mountain incredible views.. great food service and staff on top of everything... going back next year for sure...you have to see it to appreciate
When you first enter you notice that this is primarily a book store that also sells coffee. It looks like a very little bookstore. You can spend all day browsing through there well organized and complex book selections. They also have great antiques.
Lovely little coffee shop with very nice teas and coffee drinks along with pastries set in an amazing used book store! There are THREE floors of books with a handful of lovely crafts thrown in. You must stop in if for no other reason than just to say you have been there!
Browsed the books and had some hot tea. Just a warm friendly place to stop by for a while. We walked up from the Alpine Inn.
This was a neat little place. There were several floors of all kinds of things: Books, paintings, antiques, there was even a wooden canoe being built in the basement. My husband and enjoyed our visit and I had a great cup of Mocha Latte!
