Not bad, but very average small town grill food. Nothing special at all and for this area very small fries and burgers for the money. Lots of better BBQ in the area.

Right off the interstate at the Mount Airy exit is Aunt Bea's BBQ and Breakfast. I would assume their breakfast is great, but I do know that their Carolina pulled pork and 'thin' sauce is what I consider Carolina BBQ. Don't miss the chance if you are in the area at mealtime...apparently Breakfast, as well!

Our meal was okay, nothing great, nothing bad. Some of the meat was a little tough and the coleslaw was unique. Staff was not very attentive when needing to open another till and no one was keeping the ice machine filled. An okay experience.

I have eaten at this place all my life. They have a good selection and breakfast or lunch or dinner depending on when you are there to eat.

Was not what I was expecting at all. Thought it would be a nice little diner. The booths were uncomfortable and small. Ordered the bbq which was not bad, the fries could have been baked a little longer the hush puppies were ok and then there was a glob of something on the plate that was called bbg cole slaw... More

The food was average. The sauces were a little spicy. May try something besides BBQ if we visit again.

Good country cooking. At a reasonable price. Nothing fancy here. The locals know, drive-in window was always full.

My favorite thing to get here is the sausage biscuit. Aunt Bea's are the best any where around. But anything you have at Aunt Bea's is going to be great.

We stopped in for breakfast and I had pancakes with bacon. The pancakes were delicious and the bacon was cooked just right. My husband had country ham biscuits and was very pleased. It might be a little pricey for breakfast but it was worth it!
