Great relaxed atmosphere, great coffees, definitely not a Starbucks, but much more personal and locally owned. They roast their own beans and we always keep a supply at home.

We found this place a couple years ago and pretty much go every morning we're in the outer banks. Great local coffee spot, good vibe, cool art on the walls, and great coffee and baked goods. We always get the Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin, its good even a day or two later. Make sure to have them heat it up...

At first glance I couldn't tell if I was entering the side of a clothing store or what because of the way the building is designed. But, the moment I entered,I realized this was the coffee venue I wanted to go for coffee every morning while in the Outer Banks. It was our second day in the area and our...

Best coffee in OBX! The owner is extremely knowledgeable about coffee. The coffee was excellent, the local art on the walls was gorgeous, and the staff was awesome! Don't forget to buy ground coffee to bring back to your hotel or rental. One of my best beach moments was sipping my Morning View Mocha Java on the beach at sunrise!
Wish we found this place on day one. Morning View is a gem and blows away The Front Porch. The owner was very friendly and I learned that the light roast has more caffeine than the dark roast. Sipped our coffees traveling home from OBX. The muffins were moist and wonderful.
We asked at the hotel if there was a Starbucks close by. The ladies laughed and told us to go to Seven-Eleven. We asked a true Nags Head local and she recommended Morning View. Here's the skinny: Get you coffee fix at Morning View, but don't tell anyone. A regular cup of coffee at Morning View is significantly better than...

Whenever I get to OBX I make a point of going to Morning View for some fresh-roasted beans to take home. This cozy enclave has everything one needs in a small, local coffee shop. The pleasing aroma of fresh coffee, local art all over the walls, music, wi-fi, and friendly atmosphere. My preferred beans: Costa Rican Rainforest.
As a tourist in the off-season, I found this place while searching on my Garmin. So glad I did. While enjoying a delicious cup of coffee and utilizing their free WiFi, I couldn't help but notice the number of customers who came in that the staff seemed to know. Friendly conversations, a warm and inviting sitting area, and of course,...

We had stopped here a couple of years ago, and enjoyed it then - stopped in again this time and still love it! The coffee was excellent, as was the iced soy mocha I had. The bagels and scones taste yummy, especially the warm white chocolate raspberry scone. Their mascot Maddy is very friendly and joined us for our snack....

Not being able to handle the "coffee" being offered at our hotel, we gave Morning View a try-we ended up going every morning for a week. We tried several different roasts over the week (roasted on-site) and we were unable to find one we did not like. Of the roasts we tried, I'd say they were bolder, more flavorful than...
