My daughter, her bf and I spent the day @ Lake Chapala and environs, heading into Ajijic in the early afternoon. Since Alejandro, the bf was driving, he knew of a place on the wharf in Ajijic and wanted us to eat there, but it was closed indefinitely. So we walked along the beach and found Yves. The open deck... More

Went with a group of ladies for lunch. Menu is varied. Quesadillas looked great, I got the Taco salad which was very big, bordering on huge for 80 pesos. It was good but lacked flavor. I did bring home enough for another meal. Menu is varied in prices and variety. Would try again. Location: on the lake, but access is... More

A friendly lakeside restaurant with pleasant service and good food. You will be amused by the original paintings of the village's local celebrity donkey, enjoy the gentle lake breeze and the fresh tasting mojitios. Their American style burgers were grilled exactly as requested and served with homemade fries. Yes, we had did finish with key lime pie - a snappy... More

Situated on the beach in Ajijic is Yves, a great place to have lunch. My friend and I enjoyed our meal and the service--at my request, they even turned the music down. This was the second time I had eaten at Yves and it was every bit as good as the first time. Nearly all the tables overlooking the lake... More

Went ther for margaritas with out of town guests. The margaritas were too strong, could hardly drink and my brother got bitten all over his back with some kind od invisible creature.

Its too bad that this place doesn't have better food because the location on the lake is great. But food is mediocre, sometimes served cold and lacking in imagination or quality.

Located on the beach front, Yves is a great place to start your day with breakfast with fresh-squeezed orange juice and an omelet. Good service, good food and reasonable prices. El dueño is a considerate and personable host.

Went there for lunch this trip and it was obviously a popular place at this time of day. Ordered the Swiss Enchiladas while were absolutely packed with chicken and quite tasty!

Nice menu in English and in Spanish, does not take credit cards. Pleasant staff, good variety and fresh food. Quaint with handmade items displayed by locals outside. No pressure to buy.
